State Fare Kitchen & Bar Launches Successful Opening In Sugar Land

State Fare Kitchen & Bar has drawn successful crowds since opening their doors in Sugar Land Town Square on July 8 despite opening during a pandemic.

The restaurants unique southern concept appeals to the locals in Sugar Land. The menu consists of a modern twist on Southern favorites and spinoffs of fair-type food such as fried Oreos and funnel cake.

The Director of Operations, Justin Yoakum, changes up the menu periodically to stay current with culinary trends. Some southern favorites include the Texas Red beef chili Frito pie, the Sabine Pass gumbo, the H-Town hot fried chicken and the Kuykendahl burger.

Guests can also unwind with a rotational selection of adult beverages including the seasonal pumpkin spice cocktail.

State Fare was acquired by Culinary Khancepts two years ago with the intention of expanding to this second location in Sugar Land. Despite delays due to COVID-19, the restaurant was able to successfully launch their opening.
