Terry High School’s beloved Head Football Coach was the Houston Texans’ Coach of the Week on November 6 for Week Nine of this award! Cornelius Anthony was presented with a generous donation of $2,500 “from the Houston Texans Foundation and Houston Methodist as well as a signed certificate from Houston Texans’ Head Coach, Bill O’brien!” Coach Anthony and the entire team were elated to know that their hard work and endless training have paid off.

Houston’s professional athletes are always on the hunt to make a positive impact on their communities. The Houston Texans partnered with Houston Methodist to recognize deserving coaches in the Greater Houston Area who work hard to ensure their players’ success on and off the field. “At the end of the high school football season, the Coach of the Year will be selected from the 2019 Coach of the Week winners. They will receive recognition on HoustonTexans.com, a signed certificate, $5,000 for their football program and on-field recognition at our 2020 State of Football game.”
